Anusuya (she/they) is a Master’s of Science graduate candidate at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS) and is a member of the Informal Sustainability Lab. Prior to SEAS, Anusuya received her Master’s of Public Health in health communication and community health education. She is conducting her thesis on rapid economic growth in Guyana and its implication for informal labor structures and workers through a climate and feminist lens. Within informalities, Anusuya is particularly interested in the overlap between resource marginalization and informalities as sources of economic and social empowerment. 

In her freetime, Anusuya enjoys cooking, karaoke, kayaking, and laying in grass.
